![]() ![]() If you search for negativity, look at you OP: that was the most condescending, shallow, short-sighted and arrogant thing you said so far, and didn't even took much words. Now, I don't really care if you felt offended, as I wasn't as much arrogant in my way of casually answering you more than your dull comment wasn't helping much and was clearly showing your lack of interest in what others says. The real issue is still the same at the end of it: whenever GoG will get the 2.0 update, adios the available digital backup of the black Chuchel purchased officially and legally from every stores~Īnd why would people that already purchased the game (some even at full price) should be obligated to get it again, elsewhere, just because Amanita Design didn't think about them in the first place? That's where the stupidity is really lying. ![]() That's just one temporary workaround among others. But you can't say that just downloading it once is the ultimate solution. I assume you understand what it means by just downloading it "once"? There are always risks. If you don't have any prepared, that's on you. And don't start me on the need of a system wipe out.Īs for the "Eventual backup" thing, I meant having physical or cloud-based backup. They should but you won't change the masses with wishful thinking. Obviously, not everyone will get multiple big HDDs inside their computers nor want to invest in them. ![]() Also why physical releases on PC are scarcely made these days, some being completely useless (hello MGSV). That's the new consumer way on PC (and Consoles are slowly but surely leaning towards the same fate). Only because it's more convenient for them to uninstall and re-dl whenever they want to play something. The majority of people clearly aligns with that mentality while not doing any backups on their own, for the most part. You buy stuff and can download them without limit. The point being that Steam and GoG are download-based-only platforms. But casual or not, even then, sh*t happens. Whenever I sell external HDDs to casual people, you would be surprised with how they tend to "use" them. Good for you then, but your not representative of every person on earth with a computer. ![]()
